This painting is an imagined landscape—A place somewhere between water, earth, memory, and dream.

Layers of colour, texture, and delicate marks come together to suggest a landscape in motion. Lavender, soft blues, greens, and touches of gold drift across the surface like reflections on water, while darker passages move through the painting like shadows, currents, or distant forms.

I am less interested in depicting a particular place than in capturing the feeling of being immersed in nature—the stillness, abundance, mystery, and constant movement that exist within it.

The small marks and layered textures invite the viewer to look closely and discover something new each time. For me, the painting becomes a place to wander: familiar enough to evoke a landscape, but open enough for each person to create their own.
